More about the brand

Jardin Privé describes itself as a Parisian family business that has specialised in knitwear for several decades. The collections are developed in its own design studio in the heart of Paris and are mostly manufactured in Mongolia and Inner Mongolia.

The brand itself calls cashmere a "fibre d'exception" and emphasises quality, modern cuts and refined workmanship. According to Jardin Privé, production takes place mainly in Mongolia and Inner Mongolia.

Jardin Privé itself explains why good cashmere is precious. A cashmere goat yields only about 100–200 grams of cashmere per year. According to the manufacturer, about 2–6 goats are needed for one sweater.

Current 100% cashmere sweaters by Jardin Privé often cost €200–300 new, with more elaborate models costing considerably more.
